20 facsimile reproductions formed the last of the exhibitions dedicated to commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Photography. Un lápiz de luz: William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877) is the name of the exhibition that remained open from November 1989 to January 1990. Frenchman Daguerre and Englishman Talbot used different methods to achieve similar results in their effort to mechanically record images. However, by inventing the positive-negative and thus generate the possibility of reproducing and publishing these images, Talbot was awarded the category of father of modern photography.
