This unprecedented exhibition reunited the greatest number featherwork mosaics, rebuilding their production context in order to discover the technical exchange between Mesoamerican and Colonial creation with the European creation from 1300 to 1700.
The pieces that form the exhibition come from different national and foreign collections, some of them were exhibited for the first time in our country and outside their original repositories. This exhibition is the result of an interdisciplinary dialogue among history, art’s history, anthropology, and ornithology.
